02/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - EuroCommerce has expressed 'the greatest levels of concern' at the general approach adopted by Social Democrat MEP Evelyne Gebhardt in her draft report on the draft directive on services in the common market. In a press release, EuroCommerce, which represents wholesale, retail and international trade in Europe, said the amendments the rapporteur wanted to introduce would hinder rather than stimulate economic growth or employment.
