31/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Federalist Movement Italy (Comitato per lo Stato federale europeo) has said that following the French rejection of the Constitution, Italy should suggest that founder members discuss relaunching political unification by means of a new federal pact where countries that so desire can decide to pool their sovereignty and create the first core of a federal state, giving a Constituent Assembly the task of rewriting the Constitution.
