27/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - To supplement the news we published on the Warsaw Summit consolidating the Council of Europe's social affairs wing (see Europe No. 8948), please note that the Polish government is considering signing the Council of Europe's 1996 Social Charter. Negotiations are continuing with Germany, which has not yet signed the Charter, but no date can yet be foreseen for signature. As we reported, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and San Marino are not planning to sign the Charter.
