19/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - During the Council of Europe summit in Warsaw, Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus announced that, next spring, he would invite the leaders of the Baltic and Black Sea countries to take part in a “Forum of New Democracies” in Vilnius. He was certain, he said, that close dialogue between the Baltic and Black Sea regions would “contribute to civil society and economic and legal reforms in the countries that aspire to a European perspective”.
