New maritime dossier on Commission's table

Brussels, 11/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - A new dossier on the maritime industry is expected to be in the hands of European Commission president (EUROPE 8944, p 12), following the announcement of a buyout project by Dutch transport group Royal P&O Nedlloyd by its Danish rival Maersk Sealand. José Manuel Barroso will appoint the Commission responsible for this operation when it has been notified, confirmed Neelie Kroes' spokesperson.
