Brussels, 11/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, by a very large majority, the Bulgarian parliament ratified the accession treaty to the European Union. Only three of the 234 deputies voted against, which confirms the political consensus in Bulgaria on this issue. Before the vote the Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg declared that their national interests and their European future are “closely linked to the pages of this treaty”.
