Trade union side finds Committee vote on Cercas report encouraging but GUE/NGL Group finds it insufficient

Brussels, 26/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - After the vote by the EP Committee on Employment on the report by Alejandro Cercas concerning review of the working time directive (EUROPE 8933), the General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation, John Monks, called on all political groups to “improve and support the compromise package in the plenary in May”.
