Mr Solana condemns assassination of Rafic Hariri

Brussels, 14/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana, High Representative for CFSP, on Monday condemned the attack in Beirut which killed former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri and several other people. “His death is a real shock. Rafic Hariri was a man of peace and dialogue. He was a friend of Europe. He was also a personal friend”, said Mr Solana in an official statement, extending his sympathy to the families of the “many victims who were killed or injured in this barbaric...
