11/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a press release issued on 10 February, the EUREKA secretariat announces that one of its projects (E!2526 IMPULSE) has made it possible to develop an implanted nerve stimulator that helps stroke victims with drop foot to walk much better. Over 500,000 people suffer from a stroke each year in Europe and 10% are left with drop foot, a press release states.
