Press-Communications-Freedom Intergroup urges Council to find journalists held captive in Iraq

Brussels, 27/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Press-Communications-Freedom Intergroup held a hearing in Brussels on 26 January on the journalists being held captive in Iraq, after which the Intergroup President Jean-Marie Cavada (ALDE, France) urged the Council of the EU to make greater use of the all Member States' diplomatic networks to find the kidnapped journalists.
