27/01/2005 (Agence Europe) -On 24 January the European Commission adopted a regulation setting the level of compensation paid to producers' organisations for tuna (albacores) by the processing industry for the period 1 October to 31 December 2003. The regulation was published in Official Journal L 21 on 25 January. Compensation has increased to 24 euros per tonne for an overall volume of 11 433,536 tonnes for this fish.
