France TELECOM has made a EUR 564 mil offer to buy out minority shareholders (it already holds a 54.2% stake) in loos-making business communications subsidiary EQUANT (USD 2.151 bn turnover in first nine months of 2004). France TELECOM offered EURO 4.20 per share.
