Brussels, 25/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Centre d'etudes, de services et d'information sur les marches publics (CESIMAP) is holding training courses in February and March on the rules governing public tender. The courses will take a two-pronged approach - a basic four-week course with courses held two days a week, and three separate days on special issues.
The basic training course stated on Tuesday 1 and Thursday 3 February in Gembloux (Belgium), looking at the standard stages of issuing and organising public calls or tender, including several practical case studies. The first of the three special training days will take place in Brussels on 24 February on public tenders for architecture and research. The two other special days will look at negotiated procedures (along with role plays) and low value public tenders; and comparing bids in multi-criteria assessment procedures.
