24/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - During the televised programme, «Vivement Dimanche» on 23 January, French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin admitted that “for the first time” he would be pleased to have “European responsibility” sometime in the future, while assuring that he has a “five-year work programme”. Last year, Mr Raffarin had denied allegations made by Le Monde that he was seriously thinking about running for the post of President of the European Commission.
