Luxembourg, 14/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Justice has just declared that the ban on sales of "snus" chewing tobacco outside Sweden (a kind of non-combustion nicotine delivery tobacco product is valid. The Court considers that Article 8 of the 2001 directive from the Parliament and Council on tobacco products, which contains this ban, was adopted without contravening the general principles of law, such as the non-discriminatory principle.
