Strasbourg, 14/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The majority of the MEPs (especially the EPP-ED, PES and Greens) said in Strasbourg on Tuesday that they took no pleasure in accepting the agreement concluded in November with the Council on the main elements of the 2005 budget (EUROPE of 27 November, p.6). Despite criticism, next year's budget is set to be agreed on by the European Parliament on Thursday with no problems, and signed by the three Community institutions.
