New Solana mediation mission - EU welcomes supreme court's decision on second round 26 December

Brussels, 06/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The EU High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana was in Kiev again to continue his efforts at mediation in the Ukrainian crisis. As soon as he arrives in the Ukrainian capital on Monday, Solana is expected to hold several bilateral meetings (in particular with president Kuchma) and will possibly take part in a new "round table" between the Ukrainian opposition around Viktor Yushcehnko and the current power represented by prime minister Viktor...
