06/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - In 2003, the GDP per head of population of Luxembourg was over double the Community average, and in Ireland, it was exceeded by almost a third. These figures are followed by those of Denmark, Austria, the United Kingdom and Belgium. In total, twelve Member States of the EU have a GDP per head of population which is above the Community average, and Spain is close to it, just two points below.
