Commission to grant EUR 1.4 bn to Lyons/Turin liaison if 2007-13 financial perspectives allow

Brussels, 18/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - AFP has reported that after meeting with the Director general for energy and transport at the Commission, François Lamoureux, the president of the French Rhone-Alpes region, Jean-Jack Queyranne declared on Wednesday, that the European Commission was prepared to grant EUR 1.4 bn to the trans-border section of the Lyons/Turin railway.
