Friday agreements on admission of foreign researchers, examination of asylum demands and anti-drug strategy

Brussels, 18/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The acknowledgement without debate of the Barroso Commission will be the main decision of the Justice and Home affairs Council's reduced agenda for 19 November in Brussels. The Council is expected to reach, without too many discussions, political agreements on the conditions for admitting foreign researchers into the EU, asylum demand examination procedures and the 2005-12 strategy against drugs.
