Extra 5.3 million euros for populations affected by hurricane Ivan and tropical storm Jeanne

Brussels, 12/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission on Thursday cleared an extra 5.3 million euros in aid for the populations affected by hurricane Ivan and tropical storm Jeanne in Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Aid granted by the European Commission to the victims of storms in the Caribbean this year now totals 9.8 million euros.
