12/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance, under the Merger Regulation, to a proposed concentration by which the undertaking Quijote Investments SÁRL (Luxembourg), which belongs to the Apax group of companies, and Vista Desarrollo S.A., S.C.R., a subsidiary of Banco Santander Central Hispano S.A, acquire joint control of Corporativa de Servicios Grupo Itevelesa, S.L. Itevelesa provides services related to roadworthiness tests for motor vehicles, control and verification of metrological equipments and industrial security control. The operation was examined under a simplfied procedure.
