Dismissal of appeals by two Spanish companies, Demesa and Ramondin, against state aid decisions

Luxembourg, 12/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - 'The Court of Justice does not question the legal analysis made by the Court of First Instance,' notes the European Court of Justice, confirming a Court of First Instance ruling that fiscal aid (a tax credit and a reduction in the basis of assessment of corporate tax) granted by the Spanish province of Alava to Daewoo Electronics Manufacturing Espana (Demesa) and Ramondin Capsulas is incompatible with EU state aid rules.
