EP prepares to welcome Romanian and Bulgarian observers in 2005 (after signature of Accession Treaty)

Brussels, 12/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the Conference of the Presidents of the political groups took its first steps towards preparing to welcome observers from the Romanian and Bulgarian parliaments in 2005, after the signature of the Accession Treaty. Bulgaria has already concluded its accession negotiations, and Romania may follow suit by the end of the month (see EUROPE of 9 November, p.12).
