Islam and Europe is theme of two AEGEE conferences in Turkey

Brussels, 05/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Students' Forum (AEGEE) organised two events in Turkey in October, with the aim of developing dialogue between Europe and Islam.

Firstly, a conference was held in Ankara on "Islam and Europe: Eye Contact", under the aegis of AEGEE-Ankara (the network's Turkish arm), which was attended by the Council of Europe, the European Commission and the Secretariat General for European Affairs of the Culture and Tourism Ministry.
