International Federation of Journalists presses EU to defend press freedom in Eritrea

Brussels, 29/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) on Thursday condemned the Eritrean government's "dictatorial" approach to press freedom. "Independent journalism faces extinction in Eritrea", said IFJ General Secretary Aidan White.
