Brussels, 15/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The MED Financing Committee, which met on 13 October in Brussels, has given favourable opinions on the National Financing Plan for Tunisia in 2004 (EUR 22 million), a complement to the 2004 Financing Plan for the West Bank and the Gaza Strip (EUR 23 million), and the MEDA global allocation 2005-2006 for the Euromed countries, it was stated by Community sources. The global allocation is intended to finance the preparation of projects, cultural activities and information of Commission delegations, meetings organised in the context of the Barcelona Process and urgent ad hoc operations.
