Member States set new rules for ochratoxin A levels in food

Brussels, 14/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health has voted in favour of a European Commission proposal to set maximum levels at EU level for ochratoxin A in coffee, wine and grape juice. Ochratoxin A is a naturally found mycotoxin which has been shown to have carcinogenic and other toxic properties.
