Commission calls on four Member States to apply European rules on road safety and pollution

Brussels, 14/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to send reasoned opinions to France, Germany, Luxembourg and Denmark, which have yet to notify measures transposing Community legislation on roadworthiness tests for vehicles, including checks on speed limiters and exhaust emission levels, into national law. Directive 2003/26/EC concerns technical roadside inspection of the roadworthiness of commercial vehicles and Directive 2003/27/EC adapts to technical progress...
