05/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has just submitted proposals to the Council with a view to concluding a new EU/Ukraine agreement on the trade in certain steel products (flat laminated products and long products) for the period 2002-2004. The new agreement with Kiev had been initialled on 22 June this year.
