05/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 29 September the European Commission adopted a proposal for a technical order to update the Community's financial participation in spending agreed to by Member States in data collection on the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). With last year's EU enlargement, the Commission's proposing a Community budget of EUR 164.5 million for 2001-06 (EUR 30 million for 2004, 39.4 million for 2005, 39.4 million for 2006.
