23/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - ) - The Union of European Federalists (UEF) presided by German social-democrat Jo Leinen, president of the committee of European Parliament's Constitutional Affairs Committee is organising on 29 September at the European Parliament in Brussels a debate on the theme of the "European Constitution: What Strategy for Ratification?" (on the début in plenary in Strasbourg, EUROPE September, p.6). Participants will include: Inigo Mendez de Vigo (Partido popular), co-rapporteur on the Constitution with British Labour Party Member Richard Corbett, Belgian Minister of Affairs Karel De Gucht and the President of the Chamber of Belgian Representatives Herman De Croo.
