17/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - As the date of the Commission's opinion draws nearer, the conferences on Turkey's candidature to the EU increase in number. On 22 September, the Assembly of Armenians of Europe and the signatories of a memorandum of several Christian minorities in Turkey will present this memorandum to denounce "a highly repressive Turkish policy against these minorities".
