Strasbourg, 17/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - After the debate on Monday with Commissioner Margot Wallström (see EUROPE of 16 September, p.15), the European Parliament adopted a resolution of the PSE, ALDE, Greens/ALE and GUE/NGL groups deeming unacceptable the draft amendment which is due to be voted on at the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) from 28 September to 8 October in Montreal which “explicitly bans any unilateral initiative to impose taxes on aviation...
