Bernard Bot writes to Serguei Lavrov to clear up misunderstanding over tragic events in Beslan

Brussels, 07/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - EU Council President Bernard Bot has written to the Russian Foreign Minister, Serguei Lavrov, to close the incident caused by Mr Bot's comments on Friday last about the tragic outcome to the hostage-taking in the school in Beslan, Ossetia (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.4).
