GENERAL NEWS / (eu) printing

- GRUNER+JAHR and ARVATO, German subsidiaries of BERTELSMANN, are to merge their heliogravure businesses with that of SPRINGER within a new entity that is expected to represent around 20% of the European heliogravure market and employ 5,000. It will be held at 74.9% by GRUNER+JAHR and ARVATO (37.45% each) and at 25.1% by SPRINGER.
