Brussels, 23/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - Last week the Commission gave its agreement to two inter-linked operations involving Dutch seed producer company Advanta B.V. Initially the European Commission cleared, the proposed acquisition of Advanta B.V. by Swiss-based Syngenta Crop Protection AG on the conditions of the subsequent divestment of Advanta's entire European operations.
