Brussels, 14/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - Following the elections that ended on Sunday, it is clear that the European People's Party/European Democrats will remain the largest group in the European Parliament, indicated Wilfried Martens, president of the European People's Party, to the press on Monday. In reply to the question on the expected departure of EPP MEPs such as the French UDF, Martens noted that they would remain the strongest group even if twenty dissidents left them. The former...
