Political agreement expected on Member States' employment policy guidelines - 1971 social security regulation updated - European gender institute

Brussels, 27/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Employment and Social Policy Council of the EU of 25 will take place in Luxembourg on 1 June, and will be attended by European Commissioner Stavros Dimas. It will be chaired by Ministers Mary Coughlan TD (Social and Family Affairs), Frank Fahey TD (Enterprise, Trade and Employment), and Willie O'Dea TD (Justice, Equality, and Legislative Reform).
