Confirmation of Luxembourg, Sibiu, Liverpool and Stavanger as European capitals of culture 2007-08

Brussels, 27/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - Ministers of culture and audio-visual affairs meeting in Brussels on 27 May under the chairmanship of John O'Donoghue (culture) and Dermot Ahern (audio-visual) agreed on the cities to be designated "European capitals of culture in 2007-08. As expected Luxembourg and Sibiu in Romania in 2007, Liverpool (United Kingdom) and Stavanger (Norway) in 2008.
