Standing Food Committee did not reach agreement over imports of Monsanto's NK603 corn- Over to the Council

Brussels, 30/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - Once again, Member States have failed to reach agreement on authorising (or refusing to authorise) imports of NK603 into the EU. At the Standing Food Committee on Friday, Member States discussed Monsanto's genetically modified NK603 corn, modified to resist the gyphosate 'Round Up' pesticide.
