30/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - In The Times on Friday, Tony Blair affirms that the United Kingdom and the eight new EU members from Eastern Europe share the "same vision for Europe's future direction". Recalling that English is the second language in most of the countries, Mr Blair assured the new members: "Britain will be your allies and partners in making the new Europe work".
