Peter Straub condemns terrorist attacks in Madrid, Laura De Esteban wants measures decided on by European Council for fighting terrorism to be put into practice

Brussels, 22/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - Opening the April plenary session, the president of the Committee of the Regions (COR), Peter Straube condemned the terrorist attacks in Madrid and Laura de Estoban (Partido popular, Spain) launched an appeal for them to continue to encourage cooperation in the fight against all kinds of terrorism and that the measures decided on by the European Council last March be put into practice.
