Parliament gives green light to fight against cross-border infringements of consumer rights in internal market

Strasbourg, 22/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - Adopting the report by German Social Democrat Evelyne Gebhardt in Strasbourg on Tuesday, the European Parliament gave its green light to the first-reading adoption of the regulation to step up co-operation between national authorities with responsibility for making sure that consumer protection legislation is applied.
