GDP rises 0.3% in eurozone in December 2003

Brussels, 16/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - During the third quarter of 2003, GDP rose by 0.3% in the eurozone and 0.4% in the EU as a whole (EU15) on the previous quarter, according to statistics released on Friday by Eurostat, the European statistical office, confirming the initial estimates. Compared with the fourth quarter of 2002, GDP in the eurozone rose by 0.6% and by 0.9% in the EU15.
