15/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - In connection with next week's debate on cohesion, CSU MEP Ingo Friedrich gave a warning against any European subsidies that supported relocating companies to the new EU Member States. Job losses in Germany should not be encouraged by European funding, he contended, in a press statement, while recognising that efforts had to be made to support future Union Member States, particularly cross-border regions
