Study points to EPP-ED non eco-friendly voting

Brussels, 14/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of European elections, several European environmental protection organisations (Friends of the Earth, European Environment Bureau, Greenpeace, T&E, Can Europe) have analysed voting by MEPs on issues that are extremely sensitive for the environment. At the general level, this analysis confirms that the EPP-ED Group (with hardly 26.7% of votes environmentally-friendly) hardly ever votes in favour of the environment whereas the Greens/EFA Group...
