The Corner House and The Kurdish Human Right Project question Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline project and call on judges to suspend pre-accession aid to Turkey

Luxembourg, 02/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Corner House, a not-for-profit company, and The Kurdish Human Rights Project, a charity foundation, as well as Cemender Korkmz, a landowner expropriated by the Turkish state to make way for the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, have initiated action at the EU Court of First Instance. The applicants claim that the Court should grant an order that the Commission propose to the Council the freezing of pre-accession assistance...
