"Schoolsport meets Olympia" event kicked off in Athens, as part of European Year of Education through Sport

Brussels, 29/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The ceremony of lighting the flame, which took place in Olympia, Greece, on 25 March, to inaugurate the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens on 13 August also kicked off the "Schoolsport meets Olympia" project. This project is subsidised by the European Commission as part of the European Year of Education through Sport 2004, which will organise several sporting events under the slogan "Move your body, stretch your mind".
