Great Europe can only be strong if a group of countries sharing the same vision takes initiatives to strengthen integration - France and Germany are the 'core of the core'

Brussels, 29/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a 25 member state European Union, soon rising to more than 30, 'differentiations' are inevitable, and if political Europe is not to run out of steam, it has to have a group of countries characterised by a high level of unity, particularly in their vision of Europe, which carry initiatives to deepen the integration process.
